2023 Greenline 40

Fort Lauderdale, Florida

$857,000

Owner is willing to entertain reasonable offers!
The Greenline 40 redefines boating, adding sustainability to comfort and ease of use. The dual sidewalks make moving around safe and easy. The excellent visibility, ambient light, and optimal ventilation in all areas make this vessel a great place to escape and relax.
The hybrid propulsion system can act either as a standard diesel vessel or you can have the engines off completely and enjoy virtually silent propulsion on the electric motors. The large lithium polymer bank provides safe battery storage allowing the Greenline 40 hybrid to travel 20 or more nautical miles on a single charge. The 6 x 330w solar panels on the coach roof provide additional power to the bank extending your time on electric. When the battery gets low or you would prefer to get to your destination a little faster, simply return to diesel mode and the electric motors are now 2x10kW generators, charging the battery bank while you cruise, removing the need to listen to a generator at your final anchorage. You can even run the AC overnight and leave the next morning still on electric.

The Greenline 40 will take care of you during the extended cruising trips you have always wanted to take. There are currently 3 Greenline vessels on the Great Loop and two others exploring the Bahamas for the season.

Stern

The fold-down tailgate will be a favorite hangout while at anchor so dont forget the fishing poles. There is a boarding ladder that makes returning to the boat easy whether the tailgate is up or down. Under each settee is storage and access to the electric winches for the tailgate and dinghy davit. The davit can support a mid-sized jet ski or small dinghy with its 264.55 lbs weight capacity. Dual boarding gates make getting on and off the boat easy no matter what side of the vessel your dock is located.
Add a pair of teak deck chairs and the stern area will be your favorite place for sundowners. Open the galley window and fold out the bar top and you now have a spacious area to entertain guests aboard all under the protection of the hard top.
Below the beautiful, real wood teak deck is an oversized full-beam lazarette where fenders, folding chairs, inflatable paddle boards, and folding bikes can all be stored.

Galley and Salon

One of the first things you will notice is the upright domestic-sized refrigerator and freezer. An induction cooktop, convection microwave, large counter space, and ample storage makes meal preparation in this space easy and the location of the galley in the aft portion of the main area means you can stay with your guests while preparing snack and beverages.

The L-shaped banquette in the salon area is not only your dining area but also a comfortable place to lounge while watching the tv on the 32-inch flat screen which is mounted on an electric lifting mechanism so that when it is not in use it does not obstruct the 360 views out the oversized windows in this area. The large table can be lowered and a cushion can be added to turn the banquette into an additional sleeping area or lounge space.
The cushions are covered in a sunbrella-like Cream Rugana and the Golden Teak real wood veneer continues down the companionway into the cabins.

Engine Compartment

Shift the table out of the central space and both hatches open to reveal the engine compartment. Components are within arms reach and sea strainers are front and center. The dual 220-hp Volvo Penta D3s are paired with dual electric motors. There are also 4 x13.3 kWh lithium polymer batteries below the boat sole all managed by the Victron battery management system and 5kW inverter. The fire suppression system and sound dampening lagging are outfitted to the hatch underside. With the hatches closed and the diesels spun up to top speed you can still have a normal conversation without having to yell over the engine sounds. On electric all you will hear is some slight mechanical humming.

Helm

The helm has the upgraded navigation package complete with dual chart plotters both with Radar overlay and Fishfinder. VHF with AIS and autopilot are ergonomically placed and you can display the rear camera on the chart plotter. To the right of the helm is the helm door that when slid open makes it easy for the operator to step out and have a full view of the side of the vessel while docking. Combine with is the bow and stern thrusters and this vessel is easy to maneuver even single-handed.

Cabins

The guest cabin is equipped 2 side by side berths a small seating area and a hanging locker. The master cabin has an upgraded island-style bed with storage below and along both sides as well as 2 hanging lockers.

Bow

The real wood teak extends to the bow where a large sun pad and bimini make up another gathering area. Electric wench with handheld remotes are located in the oversized storage locker. Radar dome sits atop the radar mast and behind are the 6 x 330w panels
