Accommodations

“DREAMER” has been designed as a rather lavish cruising suite for two with occasional guests. With her unique custom designed layout featuring a classic keyhole style main saloon, a large double berth forward, with dressing seat, five teak louvered lockers, five teak drawers, a tremendous amount of hanging locker space, voluminous under berth storage and good sized storage shelf with louvered sliding doors, outboard and a wonderfully cozy, enclosed stateroom aft, she is a much sought after vessel. Additionally there is a good sized galley, stall shower, and large “U” shaped dinette. Below, she feels more like a comparable 40 or 42 footer.

Headroom is 6’4” or better, throughout the boat and storage capacity can only be noted as “incredible”. Beautiful Burmese teak joinery throughout, solid teak staving, all doors are beveled and hand fitted, lockers are teak lined and the glossy varnished cabin sole is teak and holly plank. The interior is finished with a satin varnish.

“DREAMER” sleeps up to 7 people in accommodations with the forward cabin and main salon settees. Starting forward is a large, double V-berth. Louvered doors access a large chain locker forward, followed by drawers, lockers and storage compartments numerable enough to hold everything necessary for the most comfort in liveaboard sailing.

Next aft to port is the large head with a roomy molded in, one piece, step-in shower stall and seat, with locker/storage space outboard, opening port for light and an overhead dorade for superb ventilation. Louvered cabinet under sink, large dry storage compartment and louvered sliding teak doors outboard. Directly to starboard is a bank of 5-large drawers, a hinged locker under and storage space on top with teak fiddle and adjoining, is a large, full length hanging locker with louvered teak door, storage features that the serious liveaboard cruiser will immediately note.

Amidships is the main salon which features a large, “U” shaped settee with solid teak table which drops to convert port settee into a double berth. The table top opens full size with comfortable dining for eight. There is full length storage with bookshelves with fiddles and lockers above both settees, port and starboard., as well as cabinets with louvered doors. There is also extensive storage outboard, behind cushion backs, to port, and under settee. The upholstery is a contemporary ocean blue, mauve and cream color fabric and in good condition.

The navigation area is incorporated into the aft cabin with a “shortie” fold down chart table, but the experienced navigator will relish the comfort and safety of using the port “U” settee, along with the ability of using the expansive table top to unfold FULL SIZED CHARTS. Instrumentation is in owners aft private stateroom.

Above is a large, two-way opening “butterfly” hatch for light and ventilation, additionally there are 10 opening ports with screens, a forward opening hatch, main companionway hatch and 4 dorades for light and cross ventilation that far surpasses the standards in the industry for a boat of this size.

Directly across from the galley, to starboard, is the aft stateroom with the large double berth, with opening ports, storage under berth, storage locker and drawers.

Aft of the main salon and to starboard, is the classic “wrap around” “U” shape configured, offshore safe galley, that will delight the gourmet, whether at sea or dockside.

Features include, drawers, extensive louvered lockers, large dry storage bin, large S.S. lined refrig box with 2 well insulated opening lids, as well as a front loading door and 3-burner S.S. gimballed stove with oven. There are 2-deep stainless steel sinks, a fan, opening port and overhead dorade.
