Questions & Boat buying process;
In order to make an offer there is a process to present the offer on a professional level to the seller. The offer must be backed by a 10% deposit which at that time is fully refundable. Reason being is to show commitment, w/ a verbal offer it’s hearsay. Next will be pre-contract agreement documents and everything is subject to a sea trial, we do not have boats hauled in/out of water for random sea trials in all fairness to the seller that does not want their boat constantly driven/liability without any previous agreement. Legally the marina must do all of the registration/DMV/Title paperwork. Any type of item/ modification/ repair involved in the deal is performed after the deal is complete. Reason being if a item/modification/ repair is promised or owed and deal does not continue, then the owner of the vessel/ marina gets stuck w/ a unwanted item.
